i just put in Methlick to Ingliston into AA auto route for going down to the grand slam & its put me via the edinburgh - last time i thought i would be best to go via stirling but not sure now
any ideas which way is best??

i would definately go via stirling - be warned tho that the A80 is single lane at times between Haggs and Moodiesburn, tail-backs can be bad between rush hour times - so try and avoid! (We live in Cumbernauld so I have a birds eye view of the road unfortunately)

there is only a few miles different between the two ways, if there are roadworks which way will avoid them - dont really want to get stuck if i can help it for Enya's sake more than anything
