Can any of you recommend a good instructor/trainer in the South Lanarkshire area?! I could do with some help with Merlyn just to get him a bit more onward and also to help me with my own riding. Ideally someone good on the flatwork/dressage side but that can also teach us both to jump properly!! Thanks.  |

I get Katie Barr from Forth. She's excellent and very easy going. She's heading for Grand Prix level with one of her horses. She knows her stuff and she is very reasonable (price). She can teach you to jump too. If you are interested I see her tomorrow and I can mention you to her.

Thanks very much, that would be great. I've established walk trot and canter with him and he is reaching for his bit well. He understands moving away from my leg and tries so hard, but we have a serious lack of impulsion!! On the plus side the breaks are fab!!
