We are pleased to announce the "MARBON MOBAGO" has joined us here at Carradale!
We have recently been looking for a new filly to join us here and on our trip to the Nationals we asked Louise Brian and Mark Gamlin to help us in our search but sadly with the loss of our beautiful "Monescocia" we were left heart broken and the search was put on hold.
Unknown to me my Husband Ean had been browsing on the sales pages and spotted a striking chestnut colt by H Tobago and made arrangements to go and view him at the weekend so i was told we were off on a road trip to see some filly's. We arrived in Wales at 10.30 pm in the pouring rain to be greeted by Mark, Peter and Bev Gamlin at Castell Farm where we followed them to see a beautiful chestnut colt " Marbon Mobago". I only remember standing in his stable smiling from ear to ear hearing the words "coming home to Scotland"!!
In the morning Mark led him out, he walked out the door with such presence and beauty with his trade mark tail curled over his back and look at me attitude the decision was made he was coming home.
When i thought all my dreams were shattered "Mobago" found his way in to my life with a little help from my wonderful hubby and the Gamlin family, he is not replacing Monty but just giving us a new direction to continue on with our breeding plans and with any luck Monty will leave us a beautiful filly who may be a future wife for Mobago!!
He is the most gentle young colt with a big heart and big trot to match, he has settled in to life in Scotland already and we have new plans for his future, first on the list is to meet "Daisy" the dummy mare he he........
Thank you to Mark, Peter and Bev Gamlin for a wonderful weekend and entrusting us with such a "Special" horse, thanks also to Louise xx
