I've decided to try something new - am aiming to have a bash at dressage. Bearing in mind that I can only canter on one rein at the moment and am completely incapable of doing circles which are actually round, or straight lines for that matter, this is a bit of a challenge lol.

I'd like to get clued up on showing Part Bred Arabs - want to take Splash out to a couple of parties next year. So if anyone would like to give me some tips - go for it! Also thinking next year I would love to compete at the Highland however I only have a trailer so no where to sleep. Any suggestions on how to get round this would be helpful. Helen - you will love Dressage - just enjoy it. When I was doing some tests with Poppy I got the tests downloaded on my ipod and rode round with the test on my ipod. Very handy if there is no one to keep shouting it out, lol. ;D

Have a pop at Intro dressage Helen, if there is such a thing in your area? Its walk & trot tests only, so good to get you started!
My tip for the winter is just like Helen said - try something new! I've finally plucked up the courage to jump again, so next weekend I am competing with Banoud - wooo wooo!!! I hope I can handle my nerves, I wouldn't want to let him down LOL!
