Copied from my facebook as it hurts too much to type it all out again Stuart and i said a heart breaking goodbye to our beautiful beautiful Silver this morning. The vets and i tried everything to make her better and help her over the last few months, but it just wasn't meant to be and i couldn't bear to watch her suffer. I stayed with her until the very end, whispering in her ears while holding her head in my arms, and she will remain here at home. My heart hurts so much, i actually felt it breaking, she was my everything. The first moment i saw her i fell in love, and she smiled because she knew it and she never stopped smiling, not even today. I've had an amazing 8 years with my girl, and she's left me an amazing legacy, but i wasn't ready for her to leave, we had so much still to do. Night night my Silvery pops, i love you so much, my precious precious horse, please keep the bit of my heart you took with you safe

OMG! I am so sorry to read this. Life can be so cruel at times. Big hugs to you. Sounds as though you made the right decision for Silver though and thats all you can do in the end. RIP Silver, you'll be very much missed.
Thinking of you both xxx
