So, what do you all plan to do with your horses this year? Though we all know that they try their damnest to scupper whatever we decide to do I hope to get Gus out to more shows (anything beats the 3 we did last year ) and hopefully, in my dreams, qualify for BACS. Might try to get to a northern England show too...

With Zak I am planing to do some endurance. We are starting on the 18th with a pleasure ride at Aberfoyle. We also do dressage so hopefully it won't clash as much with the endurance as it did last year. We also do some showing in our spare time.
I will probably try to do some in hand stuff with Zhaazeer just to get him out seeing things while he is young.

Mmm, to have as much fun showing Ari as i did last year ;D and to hopefully back him and start riding him away by the end of the year.......not rushing this lad Also to perhaps get him evaluated as a BEF pot dressage 3yo , that'll do to be going on with L.x

I just want to have a healthier year for my horses - too many bad things happened last year - anyway lets not go there. So health as a priorty and with that I can do this: Get Poppy out under saddle Carry on showing in hand too Try a pleasure/endurance type ride - think Poppy would love it. Enjoy having Purds as a pet Get Cheeno going properly under saddle so me and sis can go riding together again - not done this properly since we were kids. Take them both to the beach! ;D See I dont ask for much do I! Not really bothered what I qualify for - I just want to enjoy it and show off my girl. God Im rambling now!

KM, will you have time to work with all that? I'm just hoping to get back on soon - seems ages since I rode regularly. Have turned into a fair weather rider and this winter hasn't been ideal so far. Lots of hacking on the agenda, some showing (if Dante doesn't steal him all the time ) and get back to some stressage too (actually find it less stressy than showing )

Everyone is going to busy by the looks of things and thats what is all about enjoying your horses We hope to get our yearling fillys out for some party fun, Kiss has now been backed so we need to make plans for her, Mia will be having her baby in June and we can't wait for that!! Monty will hit the shows this year too some local ones and then down south with the big boys That leaves Naz & Nesh to possibly be put back in foal but the big must do this year is to get Ellie our daughter out with her riding pony Dainty so please don't laugh when you see me in a skirt with a feather hat Think thats enough to be getting on with!!

The last three years have been dire for me too, as I've had no transport of my own to do anything! I managed to get Merlyn to the Group Show last year, but nothing else. I really need to learn how to show him properly too, so will be looking for help and assistance there! I want to get him out to lots more things this year if I can (got my newly converted lorry ready for it's plating, so will be mobile soon!). He is also due for breaking (he'll be 4 in May) so hopefully he'll be riding away nicely by the end of the year.
I'm planning to get Kalidah out to do some showing too, but also to go back to Le Trec and some general RC stuff. All in all I am hoping for decent weather and trouble free fun!

To remember to actually send off some entries This year I had aimed to be out and about a lot this year with both boys, however familly circumstances may not allow that now Will surely make one or two local shows

Sounds like you all have a busy year ahead of you. Good luck to you all. I had planned to get Gaby out and about this year, but unfortunately that can't happen now. However, I am an avid spectator and hopefully get to watch some of you at the shows. Moira if you need a hand with your brood, you know where I am and I make a good groom!!

Might take you up on that, Fiona. If we try some longer endurance stuff we'll need a crew

Well that is IF she is 14hh by APRIL 6TH.(She is still wee for her age) IF my twisted knee is any better.... IF the land ever dries up and grows grass ever again... . IF IF IF !!!! I'm sure everyone else is in similar a situation. You make plans just to make God laugh
