My daughter was home this weekend for a few days and was obviously suffering from horse withdrawl symptoms. She now lives in Glasgow and loved coming home to spend time with my four legged friends. It then occurred to me that perhaps you lovely people out there could help her. She is a very competent rider having ridden since the age of five. She is brave jumping jumps I could walk under !!!! Last year she was short listed for the British Universities Team. If anyone would like some help exercising their horses Kim would be thrilled to help out. Moira wondered if you had anyone in mind ? Please PM me if you can help/need help.

Can't think of anyone at the moment but she's more than welcome to come & visit us and have a ride on Zak. Where abouts in Glasgow does she live?

She stays in Dennistoun. Her boyfriend drives so she can get out and about. To be honest she would be thrilled to just be around horses again - that's what she misses about home. The credit crunch has taken its toll on her but she would be delighted to exchange a bit of hard work for an occasional sit on board!

I'm 35 min south of Glasgow near Stewarton, would love to meet someone who'd be interested in mucking about with my lovely gees (no slave labour!!) and have a lovely show-winning Arab gelding who would enjoy getting back into work if it would be of any interest?

Hi Rhoni Look forward to hearing from you. Reckoned she could take the train - are you anywhere near the station ? Her boyfriend is great running her about but if she could get there under her own steam it would mean he wouldn't have to give up his time to be taxi driver.

We're about 3.5 miles from Stewarton railway station - I think it's about half an hour from Glasgow Central.
