Kaya (gave birth to a colt on Sunday 26 April @ 5 am. He is by my own sE stallion Ahanu and we are delighted with him. I have waited 9 years for this foal!! She is classed as a rejecting mare due to being on loan twice (breeder and myself let her go on loan) and things going wrong, but I can assure you she is not. We have had no problems with her and she is a very protectie mum. ;D First photo 20 mins old. Others taken yesterday @ 5 days old. Bhaltos Ishtihar aka Rooster by my straight Egyptian stallion Ahanu (Emiratus B x Jiwan) out of my Crabbet/Old English mare Celestial Silver (Aboud x Silver Yasmin) for those who like to know breeding and Ahanu is over 30% Crabbett!! He is 7 weeks old in these photos and I'm just over the moon with him. ;D ;D My mare is a little lean but as you all know in foal mares have to wait to get their teeth done after they've foaled so she should pick up now. My fault as I should have got them done before she was covered.    |
