Lanimer day today and within the next 45mins ;D forty odd horse and riders will be galloping up the hill next to my fields and will be hacking round the village for a couple of hours thereafter. The horses sense something already - methinks it maybe time to bring them in soon or they could be joining them! ;D

oh dear ........ when I was in Lanark yesterday at the vets I noticed lots of horse poops on the road I thought they had already had the ride out.
Hope your horses dont go to mad when they see the ride out.

what a sight ! Fantastic! Horses tucked up and behaved themselves well though the shelties pooped all over the place! Lanimer's have their first rideout on the Monday evening, a biggie last night and today was an extra!

I used to do all the Lanimer ride outs on my first pony then on Angelo. We used to compete in the pony race up the race course. It was much fun ;D although quite mad at times. I even managed to get a smashed knee cap on one of the rides when a horse charged past and kicked out!!!  Now I just go and watch (and drink lots :  |
