See tbh. I think this is a complete pain in the ass lol, the security measures at the highland are bad enough. And one of the shops customers, who also happens to be the press for the show, was fingerprinted, searched, photographed and given a special card, incase as the home office put it "You try to shoot the queen" LMAO

Think you might upset Princess Anne by missing the E off her name

;D Oh wow! How wonderful to get such a close up piccy of the queen. I saw her on the news at the ice cream stands getting her free years supply and also handing out some of the prizes in the cattle section. Thats the first time Royalty has attended in 25 years or so. Imagine being presented your winning ribbon by the queen, what an honour! ;D I would be really worried if they didn't step up their security with the Royal Family being in attendance at such an event. Princess Anne often comes up to the Royal Spring Show at Thainstone, as does Prince Charles. When i was younger that was the only reason i ever wanted to attend the spring show was so that the royals could see my horse (i thought they did the judging at the time - i was very nieve) but then as i got older and actually went to the spring show to spectate i decided i didn't want to try competing there as the rings were terrible underfoot
