Stolen Trailer

Today at 12.05 Gilly had her trailer stolen from our drive , We live near Lanark. As you can imagine we are gutted as it was not insured.

Any help to trace it appreciated.

IT WAS TAKEN BY A BURGUNDY 4X4, and with it was a silver AUDI

I am keeping my eyes peeled! that is awful - poor Gillys birthday present too, It should be easily recognised with Mara on the side. I think its the stealing season - as I said on the phone Stuart there was one taken the weekend of the Highland from Wester Dullatur Farm, Cumbernauld - possibly in broad daylight too! B**tardo's.

There was a bateson trailer stolen from our area last week, so like you say it seems to be rife at the moment.

I hope the police is able to recover your trailer, I will let everyone know to keep there eyes out for it.

The police were a complete waste of time. Gave me an incident number over the phone and that was it. no house visit or any interest what so ever .

I had to ask all my neighbors and I am on the case of checking CCTV from local petrol stations who's cameras may catch the main roads.

God thats dreadful. My neighbour (who is 2 miles away!) told me that there were a couple of strange men in our yard about 2 weeks ago. They were looking at my Ifor Williams trailer and he just happened to be around (as he was checking his sheep at the back of our place) so he asked them what they were up to.............he got a vague response about just out for a walk and that they'd left their car further up the road.

I'd just bought my trailer too, so was instantly worried. I parked my old Discovery across the front of the trailer, so there is no way anyone can get the trailer out of where it is parked. Mine is insured, but even so it's still a worry.

I'll speak to my neighbour and see if he saw the car involved and perhaps even get a description of the men.

Just a thought, is the trailer datatagged? If so get in touch with them and they should be able to assist in locating it from the tag that's hidden on the trailer.

saw a blue ifor on my way home from wishaw hosp yesterday morning, parked at garage at newhouse - made my friend drive round it - just incase it was yours stuart - people towing must have thought i was mental!

We have searched everywhere and realize that we have a short time to view anyones CCTV . No joy yet.

Registered it stolen with ifor Williams today. So if anyone every has it serviced at a dealer of has to order a part they have to give serial number.

I think that's awful, imagine someone having the nerve to take it from your drive. Was the hitch locked or how did they manage to get it hitched? I am a bit far north from you but will keep my eyes peeled, hope you hear something
