Jumps Showing Show

Well today was the day I was showing my friends miniature Shetland. He's been so cheeky all through the week that all I was hoping for was that he would behave himself and not bite me in the ring. Well apart from having to be practically lifted into the trailer he was an absolute star. He won his class and behaved himself perfectly. The only thing that was a bit strange was not having to run flat out for the trot, I barely had to jog!!

My friend also showed her Welsh section A. He was so well behaved too considering 3 weeks ago we couldn't get a headcollar on him. He loaded fine and didn't even spook at anything and he placed 3rd.

So all in all we had a great day. The ponies behaved so well and got good placings which was the icing on the cake.

Well done Fiona and Magic! It was worth all the airs above the ground at bath-time yesterday!! and the lifting into trailer this am!! He is a lovely boy, especially when clean!!

Well done! We were parked next to someone showing a wee shetland wondered if it was you?

I had Khann there, he was a little rat bag He did win the in hand veteran and 2nd in the arab in hand even though he trotted out with his ears pinned back The ridden veteran he was 2nd equal, the judge said she really liked him and how good he looked but he was very naughty ;D Thats my boy, and I am not going to change him now at 19!!!! Photo of him evading me while I tried to make him go straight without bouncing ;D

It could have been, he's black turining to grey and we had a grey section a with us. I was so caught up in what I was doing (it's been a while since I've been in the show ring) I didn't really notice who was there. Magic had his ears pinned back a bit too, but luckily when the judge was watching he had them forward.

It sounds like Khann did well and he's looking good for a 19 year old.
