Thank you for the birthday wishes - had a good day
Although on the wednesday before got the bad news that my mare's sudden lameness which was probably due to a arab hyper floopy fit round the field, on investigation the xray showed side bone (ossification of the ligaments) and she now has remedial shoes on and field rest!! (well as much rest as you can get by penning in a small field)
And just when I had someone quite interested in buying her - funnily enough as they want her for ridden work they are not interested now - never mind
Luckily she is not very lame so fingers crossed that she actually just tweaked the ligaments and it's not to do with the side bone forming. Does anyone have experiences like this?
