well the annual pilgramage to malvern began well,i left on tuesday at 7pm with libby and a pony for a friend on board, the weather driving down was awful driving rain and wind. After filling up with diesel thought i smelt a funny smell but could not see anything well to cut a long story short had a ruptured fuel pipe diesel spraying everywhere after getting horses off got lorry towed to garage and sorted. The girls were very good melody got a good 5th in her in-hand class and 3rd out of 3 in her ridden but she was a huge improvment just still a little tense and very much a baby but very obedient, libby was also 5th in her class which was a little dissapointing as some off the ones in front off her did not trot a step and were very naughty but she was a good girl so that was fine,we have been going to the nationals for many years and have always come home with a rossette of some colour so glad they kept the side up.I was very dissapointed with the show this year i know the weather was awful but the numbers and quality of exhibits was nothing like it usually is and the atmosphere just wasnt there,as someone on an other site said it just wasnt malvern The lorry decided to finish the week in style and refused to start after i filled with diesel so i sat in a petrol station for 3 hours until fleet rescue got it sorted, broken wire to starter ::)Got home at 8am and tuned horse out in the sun Libby went nuts and ran into the post and rail fence scraping a huge bit off her hip bone and leaving big weals alonh her side she is going to be very sore tommorrow, horses who would have them.Well done to all who went down especially ann and zydeek he looked and went really well a well deserved win in great company as the ridden classes were still well filled with good quality forward.
