If i have a horse that's a part bred arab with 14.5% arab percentage, but that's not registered with the AHS, but registered with someone else can i still take part in SRGAHS show with it or would i have to get the passport overstamped? Overstamping is £38 which is a lot of money if i can take part without overstamping although i don't really understand what overstamping is as i've never had anything overstamped Can some explain overstamping for me also please ETA: it's not for Silver as she is fully registered with AHS, but in the future i may require overstamping with other societies for her

Hi Rosebud
The wording in the rules from the AHS are :-
1. ELIGIBILITY All exhibits in ridden and In Hand classes, with the exception of foals at foot accompanied by their own dam, must be registered in the appropriate Stud Book/Register of The Arab Horse Society, by the closing date for entries.
I would require to see a copy of the ahs registration certificate for an entry to be accepted in an affiliated class.
regards Stuart
