This little guy is coming to live with us on Saturday, i am so excited! His name is Foxx or Fofsway Dark Oak and he is a British Riding Pony with 14.5% Arab so eligable for Part Bred Arab classes once i fork out £38 to get his passport overstamped. He is coming to live with us mainly as a companion for Silver at the moment but he has the most fantastic nature and he will be a brilliant person for Holly to grow up with. My neices may want to ride him too. He has done dressage up to elementary level, done some showing and pony club. Once he is home, de-haired, fit and spruced up i hope to take him to some shows and have a bit of fun with him. Once Holly is a bit older and decides if she wants to do ponies, we may get her something a bit smaller as he is 13.2hh so i can't do affiliated lead rein classes with him, but either way he will staying with us and hopefully see out his days with us. Saturday can't come quick enough for me! ;D ;D ;D ;D
Stuarts mum
And with Stuart, he described him as being like a hairy bear and he was very impressed. I wasn't getting him if Stuart didn't like him/couldn't lead him
Delighted for you Rosebud - he looks like a really nice fun pony and a lovely boy to be around. Hope Silver likes the new chum !!! You could have a sit on yourself and have some fun !
He arrived this morning and oh my goodness, i have one happy Silver which makes me so happy! Here are some pics of the two lovebirds and a crap video of him playing hard to get ;D Poor Silver But he gave in and they snogged all afternoon ;D She is in love!
He has settled in great so far, i went down about half 6 and took Silver in. I went down and gave Foxx a brush and put his rug on and left him in the field with some supper and a haynet. He shouted a wee bit but hasn't been too bad. I think he is going to get on great here and he is so good.
Stuarts dad came over so Stuart took Dennis down to show him Foxx doing his trick. He lifts his front leg up like he's giving you a paw for a treat, he can bow too! Stuart is over the moon with him too which is great!
I'll go down in an hour to check on him and put lights out, though Stuarts out in the big shed just now so keeping an eye on him
